Blacks Fasteners "Let's all support the Ref"

Blacks Fasteners have been proudly sponsoring the Canterbury Rugby Referees Association (CRRA) for many years. When I heard about the ongoing problem of sideline abuse that these volunteer referees were facing every weekend, I wanted to do something to raise awareness and combat this unnecessary behaviour.  

 

As a result the “Let’s all support the Ref” logo was created. This was used on all the new sponsorship material that was due for renewal and also formed the basis for the Blacks “First 15” give-away promo that had 15 numbered shirts as prizes.

 

This was a multi-platform campaign that included, print, website, socials and an in-store video that leveraged people’s love of sport into wanting to be part of a unique team supporting our highly valued Ref’s.
